Obituary for Anita Grayson (Barnes)
Anita Joyce Barnes Grayson 64, of Erie, Pa went home to be with the Lord on Friday March 4,2022, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Erie on January 16,1958 to her late parents Leeander Barnes and Doralee Gillespie Barnes. Anita loved the Lord, she was a Sunday School teacher, sung in the church choir and loved to cook and clean. Her motto was Teaching and Exort the word of the Lord.
Anita was a 1974 graduate of Academy High School. She was preceded in death by both parents, sister Gloria Carr, niece Darlene Barnett, godson –nephew Leeander (LITTLE MAN) Barnes, granddaughters, Alaya Danae Grayson, Azaya Ranae Grayson and great grandson Arlon Jamar Burns.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories children, Colin(Deyatra) Grayson, Bionca Grayson-Tamplin, Raquell Wayne (Manuel), Anthony Grayson and Stephen Grayson (Tiawana).
She is survived by her siblings: Herbert Evans, Shirley Barnett, Teresa Nixon, Leeander Howard and Hortense Barnes. She is survived by Leeander Barnes Jr. Phillip Barnes, Tyree Barnes, Annette Watson, Stephanie Sanders, and Tina Barnes. A host of nieces, nephews, Aunts, uncles, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anita loved her family and serving the lord she will be truly missed.
