Obituary for Bernice Ravnell
Bernice Ravnell, age 68, of Erie, Pennsylvania, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Walnut Creek Rehabilitation.
A lifelong resident of Erie, Bernice graduated from Tech Memorial High School. She was born on November 26, 1952 to her beloved parents the late Jasper Ravnell Sr. & Georgia Atkinson Ravnell.
Bernice was a homemaker who loved cooking and spending time with her family, some of her most memorable moments were spent with her children and grandchildren.
She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed watching WWE wrestling and QVC. She was a member at Second Baptist Church and loved to listen to traditional gospel music. Bernice will be deeply missed by her family and friends; the great void will be felt at their annual Atkinson Family Reunion.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Carl M. Adams II; grand-daughter, Seionna Miracle Favors; niece, Jazmine Ravnell; son-in-law, Roman Thompson.
She leaves to cherish her memory; son, Anthony Harper (Charissa) of Erie; five daughters, Dawn Moore (Charles) of Alaska, Carla Adams (Jimmy Davidson), Nicole Harris, Hasana Favors and Haseina Favors-Thompson, all of Erie, Pennsylvania; sisters, Doris “Peaches” McConnell (Timothy) of Erie, Regina Ravnell Barnes of Washington, D.C.; brother, Jasper “Sonny” Ravnell Jr. of Erie, PA; 19 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
