Delores Lucas (Ms. D) 71, passed away Wednesday August 3, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital Erie, PA. She was born January 7,1951, daughter of the late Freddie Lucas Sr. And Emma When Lucas. Raised by her late grandparents Essie Whren (Ravnell) and Jasper Ravnell. She was previously employed at Stairways as a drug and alcohol counselor. Delores attended Strong Vincent High School and later furthered her career as a medical assistant at Villa Maria College and Erie Business Center of Erie. She enjoyed singing gospel music for the Lord. laughing, smiling, reading and being around family. Delores was well loved and a pillar of the community. Delores was preceded in death by brothers Larry Lucas and Walter Lucas. Sister Trina Lucas, two brother- in-laws James Eaddy 11 and George Worner, sister-in-law Cynthia Lucas and a son Darrick Lucas and Darius Qualls. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Tarsha Lucas and a son Darrin Lucas all of Erie, PA. four brothers Freddie Lucas Jr., Daniel Lucas, Gary Lucas and Gregory Lucas all of Erie. Four sisters Mary Warner, Catherine (Clifton) Moffett, Vanessa Eaddy and Terry Lucas all of Erie. One aunt Essie Whren of NY and one uncle Rev. Amos Goodwine Sr. Of Erie. Three goddaughters Viviyanna Miller, Londyn Harris and Tenickia Polk. Seven grandchildren De’Mone Kirkland, Tevin Scott, Darion Lucas Qualls, Daiquoin Lucas, Hassan Shields, Deshemia Lucas, Demonta Lucas. Seven great grandchildren Camron Roberts, Neveah Qualls, Darion Qualls Jr., Chyna Qualls, Amir Morgan, Messiah Scott and Omaria Reed-Lucas. Ms. D will truly be missed by all who loved her.
