Earnice Cox, age 93 of Erie, Pennsylvania transitioned to her new heavenly home Tuesday, November 2, 2021, surrounded by her daughters Charlene Wright and Diane Dunston.
She was born in Gary, Indiana on May 27, 1928, to her beloved parents Charles Moore and Mary Link.
Earnice loved spending time with her family, cooking and serving the lord. She was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church in Gary, Indiana where she was a lifelong door keeper for the lord.
Earnice was a loving mother with a kind spirit and will be missed deeply by all her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Cox, sisters, Susie Miller, Katie Mae Richardson, Mattie Barnett and twin sister Bernice Taylor. Brothers; Charlie and A.L. Moore. Daughters Juanita Lydell, Teresa Cox, Patricia Cox and Beulah Baldwin. Grandsons; Lester J. Wright Jr. and Leo Jenkins Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Charlene Wright and Diane (Henry) Dunston. Sons; Tommie Cox, Tyrone Cox, Frank Lee (Sharon) Cox, Michael (Michelle) Cox and Lawrence Lee Cox. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
