Obituary for Henry Corder Jr.

Henry Corder Jr. Age 68, of Erie, transitioned to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 19, 2022. He was born August 2, 1953, in Erie, PA., son of the late Henry Corder Sr. And the Asslee Stepp Corder.
A lifelong resident of Erie, Henry was a graduate of East High School. He also attended Mercyhurst College and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. Henry was a former paramedic and PA State Trooper in his earlier years, as well as a fire fighter for Wesleyville Fire Department. In addition to his career and achievements he was a former member of Bay City Lodge #68 As well as a 33rd degree mason. A former member of Shriner and a former member of the Eastern Star. Henry was a Steelers fan, loved bowling, giving guidance and advise, playing his guitar and listening to music.
Henry was preceded in death by his two brothers: Claude Richey and Booker T. Cameron. Three sisters; Earline Dogan, Lue W. Cameron, and Georgia B. Corder. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Chelette Corder of Erie, PA, Anthony Corder of Erie, PA, Rocky (Maria) Hansen of Denver, CO, Christopher (Nicole)Corder of Erie, PA, Helen- Michelle Wilkins (Stephen) Lloyd of Dumfries, VA. Isaiah Zapata Corder of Erie, PA, and Timothy (Diosa) Corder Austin, TX. Two brothers of Erie, James (Sue) Corder Sr. And Jerry (Myrta) Corder. Two sisters; Chestine Corder and Ann B. Corder both of Erie, PA.
Fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A long-time special friend and companion Patricia Christoph.
A public viewing will be held at the House of Prayer Missionary Baptist 155 East 21st Street Erie, Pa. 16503 on Tuesday June 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. until the time of his celebration of life service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Duane Hunter Eulogizing Interment will be held private. Funeral arrangements entrusted to House of Paradise Cremation & Funeral Services Inc.
