Obituary for Jermaine Davis

With great sorrow, Prophet Jermaine Lamar Davis age 40, of Merlot Court Villa Rica, GA. Transitioned to a higher ground on Friday, February 24,2023. He was born in Erie, PA. On October 16,1982 to his beloved parents, Albert Davis and Esta Sanders Davis. Jermaine graduated from Noxubee County High School in Macon MS. And worked for Sara Reed as a Behavioral Counselor, and later for Erie Insurance in their customer service department. He loved cooking and singing praises of the Lord. Family get togethers, traveling, decorating and remodeling. He was a jack of many trades. Most of all he loved the Lord and helping people. While Covid 19 began Jermaine, and his wife went out into their community to feed any and every one in need.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents McCune Davis Sr. And Mary Francis Davis. Maternal grandparents Willis Sanders and Mary Jane Sanders. Brother Albert Lee Davis Jr., sister Miranda Davis, nephew Kalvin Davis Jr. and mother-in-law Rita R. Williams. Jermaine was the proud father of Jamiyah and Tamira Davis, his wife Tania Davis.
He also leaves to cherish his memories parents Albert Lee Davis (Joliet, ILL), and Esta Davis (Atlanta, GA), siblings; Kalvin Davis Sr. (Atlanta, GA) and Crisonda Watson (Joliet, ILL) sister-in-law Tyeshia Williams (Erie, PA). Nieces and nephews Amari Davis, Cianna Watson, Joshua Watson and Dejuan Johnson. Close brother Shedrick Hunter (Atlanta, GA). Bonus children Tia Williams (Atlanta, GA), Tyla Williams (Erie, PA), Ronnie and Ronnell. Plus, many other bonus children, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, god-children, and friends. Jermaine was such a loving and giving man that will truly be missed.
A public viewing will be held at House of Paradise Cremation and Funeral Serivices Inc. 701 East Avenue Erie, PA 16503 on Friday March 10, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Celebration of life service Saturday March 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Second Baptist Church 757 East 26th Street Erie, PA 16504 with Officiant Apostle Gertrude House, and Rev. Willie Sanders Sr., Eulogizing. The Interment will be held at Lakeside Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to House of Paradise Cremation & Funeral Services Inc.
