Obituary for John Cooley Sr.
John Farrell Cooley Sr age 49, Erie, born August 5, 1973 died peacefully at home on Sunday
February 19, 2023. He was the son of Johnny “Papa” Graham McCray and the late Brenda Faye
Stowe-Cooley. John attended East High School and he worked at the Remedies through Bush
Industries where he assembled furniture. John was a generous and a kind loving man who also loved fishing and listening to music and will be sadly missed by his children, grandchildren, Journey
Cooley and Amira Cooley,family, and friends.
John was proceeded in death by his mother, paternal grandparents; Beatrice Graham McCray and Johnny Graham; and Maternal side Jessie Mae Cooley and Excell Cooley. Also, a brother Eric Darnell Cooley a loving aunt Glorydene Pullium, a nephew Denairo D. Price is and a grandson Jhy’Heem Pacley.
In addition, he was survived by his children Tyteouna D. Cooley (of Erie Pa), Johnny Farrell Cooley Jr (of Atlanta GA), and Jaunasia Cooley (of Erie Pa) and five sisters Nicole Johnson, Atia Williams, Tammy Geary, Tiffany Goodwin, and Shara Goudy. A special aunt Betty Janice Graham-Stroud, Brothers Ollie Dion Pullium and Jamie Pullium close companion Dawn Baldwin.
Friends may call Second Baptist 757 E 26 the St on Wednesday March 1, 2023 from 10am
to 12pm following service at 12pm with Rev. Lamont Higginbottom officiating. Burial will be at
Lakeside Cemetery and memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church 757 E. 26 th Street
Erie, Pa 16504. Arrangements are under the care of House of Paradise Cremation and Funeral Services Inc.
