Obituary for Margaret Young-Roman
Margaret June Young Roman, 81 of Erie PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 8, 2023 at St Vincent Health Center. Born in a little town in Ohio on September 3, 1941 to the late Everett and Grace Young.
Margaret was a 1959 graduate of East High School. She worked for Plastek for a number of years before heading out west to California were she would own and operate a few businesses for over several decades. She returned back to Erie after retiring to be closer to family.
In her spare time she was the life of the party, loved to hang with family and friends and drink, cook, pass out recipes and play computer games.
She was preceded in death by both parents and four sisters: Evie Salsbury, Grace Huffman, Vicky Machalinski and Penny Danowski.
She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters: Patty Roman and Sherry Hartleb both of Erie, three sisters: Patricia Corti, Gloria Loflin and Teresa Potts; five grandkids, Kipper, CJ, Derek and Corey Hartleb and Justin Burns; 12 Great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of friends.
A private memorial service will be held by the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to House of Paradise Cremation and Funeral Home of 701 East Ave Erie Pa 16503.
