Melanie Louise Brunson age 60, of Erie, PA went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, February 8,2023. She was born on October 10,1962 to Malachi Brunson Sr. And Elease Brunson. Melanie was a GOD-fearing woman and loved spending time with family. After graduating from Tech Memorial High School, she went on to pursue her career in the medical field as a nursing assistant at Battersby Convalescent Home, Veterans Hospital and The Village at Lutheran Square. she also worked for Erie Rise in the Foster grandparent program mentoring children. She was member of the American Legion lady's auxiliary post 700. Melanie was a member of Greater Calvary Full Gospel Church where she was a Door Keeper for the Lord. Melanie was preceded in death by both parents. She leaves to cherish her memories daughters; Roemel Phillips and Jamie Roberts. Son; Justin Brunson. Husband Michael Wardell. Siblings; Edna Anabui, John Brunson Sr. Malachi Brunson Jr. and Michael Brunson. Three grandchildren Dupree Husband, Danielle Clowden and RA Phillips. Three greatgrandchildren; Katherine Spain, Journee Husband and Navi Husband. A host of nieces, nephews and friends. A special cousin Valerie Johnson and lifelong friend Thresa Fisher. A public viewing will be held at Greater Calvary Full Gospel Church 2624 German St. Erie, PA 16504. On Saturday, February 18,2023 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of her celebration of life service at 12:00 p.m. with Bishop Jesse N. Gavin Eulogizing. Interment will be at Erie Cemetery.
