Milton Bishop 70, of Erie, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 14,2022 at his residence. Milton was born in Erie, PA on January 13, 1952, to his late parents Robert and Nebraska Jones Bishop. He was employed with Conrail railroad for many years. Milton loved spending time with his family, and would be seen around town riding his scooter listening to his jazz music and old school R&B. He was an avid Cleveland Brown fan, and a ‘True Playa’. Milton will truly be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Milton leaves to cherish his memories children; Marsha Bishop, Miranda Bishop, Brandy Bishop, Monica Bishop, Keana Anderson and Darnell Ramsey. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also survived by granddaughter Nayamka (Nay NAY”) Stonewall and first wife Tina Bishop. Sisters; Rena Bishop, Nebraska Bishop, Joann Bishop, Jackie (Gary) Carson and sister-in-law Frances Spain. Brothers; James Spain, Mark Bishop, Joey Bishop, Mack Bishop, Robert Bishop, Earl Bishop and brothers-in-law Tim Lucas and Gary Carson. A host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, great nieces great nephews and friends.
Besides both parents, Milton was preceded in death by daughter; Melissa Bishop. Brothers; Lee Spain, Edward Bishop, Jimmy Spain, great grandson Steven Bishop and wife Martha Lucas Bishop.
A public viewing will be held at House of Paradise Cremation and Funeral Svcs. 1846 West 26th Street
Erie, PA 16508 on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of his celebration of life service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Lamont Higginbottom, Eulogizing. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery.
