Naim Jahace Bayete age 21, of Erie, Pennsylvania, received his wings on Saturday, March 18,2023.
He was the loving son of Echo Smith and Wayne Jamal Garrett. He was born in Erie on August 21,2001. A very strong-willed young man, that had a Zest for life. Na’im was a devoted father and was always about his family. After he had his son, he decided to go back to school for his GED. He wanted to be a psychiatrist, or a psychologist. He was interested in learning how people think. Na’im was a jokester and Philosopher that felt he was the smartest in the room. He also enjoyed listening to music and playing basketball. Na’im will always be remembered for his ambitions to never let things bring him down.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Sheila Ann McLaurin-Smith, Great grandmother Georgia Ann McLaurin, daughter Kamaria Isis Bayete, Uncle Jeremiah Bayete and Shanti Bayete.
Besides his parents, He leaves to cherish his memory, significant other Kamesha Thompson, son; Osiris Amir Bayete. Siblings; Catoure Lucas, Messiah Williams, Royalty Pacley and Sakin Bayete. Grandparents; Dewitt Smith, Wayne Fambrough, Terry Brown and Leslie Garrett. Great grandfather Shelly McLaurin Sr. God mothers; Crystal Mickel, Vita Johnson-Young and Chasity Bender. He also survived by bonus children Amina Digangi and Marcello Digangi. His favorite aunt’s Kicoa McLaurin and Alemmasha Bayete.
