Ronald Mark Rodrigues, 74, of Erie, PA., passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Erie, on April 5,1949, son of the late Joseph Rodrigues and Juliet Azavedo Rodrigues. Ronald was a 1967 graduate of Cathedral Prep and attended the University of Phoenix, where he received his associate’s degree in Art and General Studies. He became a member in the United States Army where he proudly served for 4 years. There he received the National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Campaign Metal with Device 60, 2 Overseas Bars, and the Good Conduct Metal. Ronald was employed with Lord Corporation as a master scheduler, and retired after 40 years of service in 2013. He was a lifetime member of Polish Falcons and Slovak National Club. He loved cooking, photography, gardening and music, especially jazz. Ronald had a soft spot for animals, especially Blue and Zoey. Besides both parents he was preceded in death by brother David Rodrigues. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Marcia Rodrigues of 20 years. Son; Joseph Rodrigues (Erie, PA) and daughter; Rebecca Rodrigues (Cleveland, OH). Grandchildren Kristi (Tim) Getz (Edinboro), PA., Alexa Gurly (Cleveland, OH), Liliana Lindemuth (Erie, PA), Cassie Allamon, Hugh and Ronnie Miller. Great-grandchildren; Xavie, Tyler and Boston. Nieces; Amy, Melanie and Marla. Step children; Dom Milone, Nicole Allamon and Rachael (Gary) Miller. Best friends since kids Steve, Poncho and Rick Cabaday. A celebration of life will be June 27, 2023 at Polish Falcons Nest 610, 431 East 3rd Street Erie, PA 16507. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to House of Paradise Cremation & Funeral Services Inc.
