Tanisha N. Phillips, 41 of Erie, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Erie, on January 10, 1979 to Crystal Phillips and the late Michael Hales. Tanisha was a graduate of the former Tech Memorial High School in Erie, Pa. She had a kind spirit and enjoyed dancing and listening to music. Tanisha was a homemaker and loved spending every minute with her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by them all. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charles Phillips Sr. and Doris Phillips; paternal grandfather, Samuel C. Crosby. She leaves to cherish her legacy five children, Shenika Phillips, Shakur Phillips, Shyla Phillips, Shanayia Phillips and Serenity Phillips all of Erie, Pa.; sisters, Shawna Williams and Michelle Hales; brothers, Stewart Phillips, Joshua McClendon and Jonathan McClendon; paternal grandmother, Mary Hales. Four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Following all CDC guidelines a viewing will be held at Second Baptist Church 757 E. 26th St. 16504 on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 10:00a.m. until 12:00p.m. with a homegoing service starting at 12:00p.m. Pastor Lamont A. Higginbottom Sr., eulogist. Interment private. Arrangements entrusted to House of Paradise Cremation & Funeral Services Inc.
