Obituary for Todd Jones

Todd Daniel Jones 57, of Union City, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, July 5,2022. He was born in Erie, PA on February 8.1965. Son of Gladys Mae Jones and the late David Eugene Gaines Sr. He later moved to Union City, GA. To further his entrepreneurship of various businesses that he created, such as “Make it Make Sense”, and “Some of Everything”. Todd also loved buying and selling items from any and everything he could think of, basketball, traveling, reading, and researching family ancestry. If you came to visit him, he was going to make sure you rode around on scooters having fun. Todd graduated in 1984, from Strong Vincent High School, and attended Triangle Tech where he received his certification in HVAC. He also received his dealership license as a car salesman. His large smile and infectious laugh will truly be missed by all. Besides his father, Todd was preceded in death by his sister, Herlaine Jones, brother David Lee Easter, Maternal grandparents Arthur and Velma Easter, paternal grandparents Cozette West and Daniel Gaines, uncles Chester, Dale, John, and Richard Easter, James, Larry, and Robert Gaines.
In addition to his mother, he leaves to cherish his memories, children LaDawna M. Jones Rowell (Patrick) of Decatur, GA. Sharonda Jones and Tamaj Shaw of Erie, PA. Isaiah Jones of Farrell, PA, and Madison Mitchell and Montana Mitchell Jones of Reisterstown, MD. Brothers; Arthur “Popeye”, Yancy and Rodney Jones of Erie, PA. David E. Gaines Jr. Of Atlanta, GA. And sister Jean Hoffmaster. Grandchildren; Keevon Johnson Jr., Keshaun Johnson, and Ace Rowell.
Special friends from the Lakeside Gents, Phillip Atkinson, and Jerry Seidl and many more. Also, special cousin Gwendolyn Goodwine. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A public viewing will be held at Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church 2624 German Street Erie, PA 16504 on Tuesday July 12,2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and may attend his celebration of life service Wednesday July 13,2022 at 12:00 p.m. with Minister Darren Peoples Eulogizing. Interment will be private. Funeral arrangements entrusted to House of Paradise Cremation & Funeral Services Inc.
