Obituary for Willie Crosby

The Matriarch of the Crosby family sadly announces the transition of Willie Mae Crosby age 90 of Erie, PA. On Thursday August 25,2022 surrounded by her loved ones. Willie Mae was born in Lake Providence, Louisiana on May 24,1932 to the late Louis and Lucille Dunn. She was raised in Lake Providence and later moved to Erie at the age of 22 with her husband Mose Curtis Crosby. Willie Mae loved spending time with her family, playing cards, bingo, cooking and going fishing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Mose Curtis Crosby, daughter Mildred Cook, brother Louis Dunn, sisters, Mary Hope and Geraldine Qualls.
Willie Mae will be forever loved by her children; Frances (James) Spain, James Crosby, Gloria (Johnnie) Hammond of East Norriton, PA, Deborah Crosby, Matthew Crosby, Benny Crosby, Pamela Crosby, Diane Bankhead of Norristown, PA., and Ronnie (Judy) Crosby, daughter-in-law Donita Precise and many special friends. 43 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren. She is also survived by brother; Frank (Queen) Williams of Pensacola, FL. Niece Mary Lucille Dunn, nephew; Michael Hope of Erie, PA niece; Stephanie Williams, nephew Josiah Williams, nephew; Frank Williams Jr. Of Pensacola, FL. and nephew; Maurice Williams. Stepdaughter; Denise Gregory.
A public viewing will be held at House of Paradise Cremation and Funeral SVC. 1846 West 26th Street on Friday September 2,2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Her celebration of life will be held at Second Baptist Church 757 East 26th Street on Saturday 3,2022 from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to House of Paradise Cremation & Funeral Services Inc.
