Obituary for Fern Burkes
Fern Burkes age 61, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away March 27, 2021. Born to the late Willie and Dorothy Burkes on July 4, 2021, She was born and raised in Pittsburgh where she also raised her family. She spent her days making her family laugh and sharing her passion for cooking soul food. She had a bright smile and a big sense of humor to leave a lasting impression. She will be missed by all the friends and family who knew her. She is survived by her daughters Erica and Daniella Burkes; her grandchildren Byron Burkes, Robert Kelly Burkes, Daojah Burkes, Jakia Boyd, Danaisha Burkes, Damarrion Boyd, Darrius Boyd, Brian Burkes, and seven great-grandchildren.
